Dr Ir Carin Vijfhuizen works over 32 years in Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

As from 2017 she is director of SLEE-B: Strengthening Leadership in Education and Enterprise-Balance

South Africa (2010-2014 & 2017)



  • Monitoring of capacity building projects and programme in higher and technical education
  •  Needs Identification and articulation of a capacity building programme (NICHE-Netherland Initiative for Capacity building in Higher Education) and the formulation of NICHE projects in higher and technical education
  •  Research & a Needs identification for the collaboration between Dutch green education institutes and agricultural education and companies in South Africa.
